History of SIS
In 2002, a respected personality of Himachal, Mr. Chaand Saini, fired by the desire to create an equal educational platform for young children in Himachal, acquired a small estate in Kangra to give shape to his dream. There were no funds, no staff, no buildings and no students but a vision and an indomitable spirit. He entrusted the task of setting up and running a school with high scholastic standards and a progressive attitude, rooted in Indian tradition and culture. He named the school as “Scholars’ International School”.
Since two thousand twelve the school has been affiliated to the CBSE board and offers education to students from Nursery to class 12.
His dreams were supported by his youngest daughter “Mrs. Shikha Saini”, who supported him in establishing the school, getting affiliations and staffing. It is her effort which streamlined the making of this wonderful education institute.
